What do you think about idolizing someone?

In the kind of world we live in, there are many people around us who are successful in their work such as whether it is an actor or a dancer or a singer or maybe a social media influencer.

Sometimes, people love them so much and they started idolizing them. So my question is ” Is it good to idolize someone whom you like the most?”

Idolize is a really strong word. Idolizing can be described as being obsessed with someone because you love them so much.

Celebrities are a good example because of the famous things they do that make their fans look up to them.

According to my point of view, idolizing someone is not healthy for anyone.

Idolization implies you have created a false image of their success and perfection that is unlikely to resemble the messy reality that most people’s lives consist of.

I think that as you know more about the real person, they will fail to meet your expectations because no one is perfect on this planet. Eventually, a person doesn’t ever know another person.

Another disadvantage of idolizing someone is that, sometimes when we look for them whom we idolize, we always wonder why we can’t do something reward-able with our life. All of these kinds of thoughts are often frustrating for us.

You can stop adoring other people while dwarfing yourself by loving yourself. Self-love is key to enjoying life at every moment. Life is what you make of it, it’s our priorities that we determine what comes first and what comes last in our life.

To understand yourself you have to be unapologetically you. Understand your weakness but ignore some of them by working to make yourself better.

Rather than idolizing someone, start to adore your life for loving yourself. Give time to yourself to become the best version of yourself.

Idolizing is a dangerous thing in general because when you idolize someone you are comparing yourself with the idol person.

The matter of the fact is you might start doubting yourself which affects your life.

Keep one thing in your mind before idolizing someone is that, everyone’s level is not equal, everyone’s brain is not equal, everyone’s life is not equal even everyone does not get the same opportunities in their lives.

Therefore, everyone should be respected as an individual but no one is idolize.

Never idolize someone, you will lose yourself.

If you want to idolize something then, according to Stephen. S. Covey please idolize principal because they are universal and not let you down.

1. They don’t come and go.

2. Not based on nationality or race.

3. They are not mine or yours.

4. They can’t be bought or sold.

5. They apply equally to everyone whether it’s male or female or rich or poor.

If you live by them, you will excel, if you break them, you will fall. It’s that simple.

In a nutshell, One of the greatest mistakes we make is to idolize artists rather than art. So, appreciate the artist for his hard work and idolize the art.
